GOSH Charity announces £10 million partnership with Omaze over five years

Great Ormond Street Hospital (GOSH) Charity has announced a new partnership with prize draw fundraising company Omaze to raise £10 million over the next five years. The money will go towards GOSH Charity’s record £300 million appeal to build a new children’s cancer center.

Details of the partnership

This is the first time Omaze has pledged such a large amount for a charity partnership. They will raise the £10 million through multiple house prize draws starting from January 2024. GOSH Charity said it has already raised halfway of the £300 million target for the new cancer center.

Previous partnership success

GOSH Charity previously partnered with Omaze in 2021, where a £3 million house in Wimbledon was offered as a prize and raised £500,000 for the charity. Under the new partnership, GOSH Charity will benefit from an increased minimum guaranteed donation from Omaze, rising from £100,000 to £1 million per house draw.

Details of the first house draw

The first million-pound house draw as part of the new GOSH Charity-Omaze partnership closes postal entries on 27 February 2024. Omaze has previously raised £28.5 million for several large British charities through prize draws offering houses, cash, cars, and other prizes.
